loft parties in Montreal, Los Angeles indie club promoter and DJ
CHRISTOPHER GRAPER is a constant purveyor of the sensational and
exhilarating in creative, independent pop sounds from around the globe.
As Creator, Promoter and DJ of the influential Los Angeles indie
nightspot CLUB PAR AVION, Christopher Graper aka SOJU has been
responsible for organizing a collective of underground DJ's and parties
into an international touring event having completed successful CLUB PAR
AVION parties in San Fransisco, Denver, Tijuana, Toronto, Shanghai,
Tokyo, and Seoul.
In addition to typical PAR AVION mixes of indiepop, harmony and
melody pop, sunshine pop, clubpop, 8 bit, picopico pop, Nintendisco,
cutepop, 60's twist and ye-ye! from Japan, Spain, France, Hong Kong, Mexico,
Korea, Germany, China, Bollywood, the UK and the US, he also thoroughly
enjoys offering the enchanting and diverse sounds of 60's Jamaican ska
and rocksteady, 30's Shanghaiese jazz, Japanese bossa nova, French
Chansons and Korean Pyschpop and Folk mixed lovingly for relaxed appreciation
and flirtatious alcoholic consumption.
